Contrast enhanced (CT) scan was performed and a congenital anomaly of the inferior vena cava (IVC) was evident: there was a left inferior vena cava with retro-aortic right renal vein (RRV). Hepatic and infra-hepatic segments of the IVC were absent and the hepatic veins were draining directly into the right atrium . We notice azygos and hemiazygos continuation of IVC. Enlarged azygos vein joins the superior vena cava (SVC) at the normal location at the right para-tracheal space
<AbstractLanguage>English</AbstractLanguage> <Keywords>Azygos ,Hemi-azygos</Keywords> <URLs>
https://www.journal-jmsr.net/ubijournal-v1copy/journals/abstract.php?article_id=5649&title=Left inferior vena cava with azygos and hemi-azygos continuation
</URLs> <References> <ReferencesarticleTitle>References</ReferencesarticleTitle> <ReferencesfirstPage>16</ReferencesfirstPage> <ReferenceslastPage>19</ReferenceslastPage> <References/> </References> </Journal> </Article> </ArticleSet>
